Tolminka tek/trail is the first permanently marked running trail in Slovenia. The trail circles Tolmin and leads runners past the most beautiful points of the area.
The partners of this joint project – launched in the beginning of June 2018 with the help of numerous volunteers who helped to arrange and mark the trail –, are Soča Outdoor Festival, the municipality of Tolmin, the Soča Valley Tourist Board and Continental. The partners are committed to regular maintenance of the trail and its upgrading.
All the participants of the project wish for the trail to become a popular recreation spot for the locals, as well as a yearlong sports tourism product intended for the increasingly numerous visitors of the Soča Valley from other regions of Slovenia and from abroad.
