The soles of the running shoes we develop together have a proven excellent grip on both dry and wet surfaces, and among other things, our nearly 150 years of knowledge on rubber compounds have contributed to three world records in marathon.

Beside passenger tyres, we also have over 100 years of experience in the manufacture of bicycle tires which are renowned for a remarkable grip and one of the most desirable products in road cycling as well as mountain biking. The winner of the world’s biggest road bicycle race, Tour de France, of which we are a partner, competed with our high-tech tires this year as well.

Vision Zero

For almost 150 years, Continental has been making extremely important steps towards increasing road safety. Years ago our corporation, which also includes an automotive division along with the tire division, has set an ambitious, yet attainable, objective: Vision Zero. Through our innovations and technological development, we want to make fatalities, injuries and finally, traffic accidents, a thing of the past. Cyclists are among the most vulnerable road users and we designed our campaign #SharingTheRoadSafely to point to this issue and contribute to improving their safety.
